The PBA released its initial schedule for the resumption of the Governors’ Cup on February 11.
And as earlier promised by the league to accommodate the TNT Tropang Giga, whose core will be utilized by head coach Chot Reyes for Gilas Pilipinas’ upcoming participation in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers first window, the defending PBA Philippine Cup winners will play four games in eight days.
The MVP franchise will first face the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok on Friday, February 11.
Two days after, they will battle Phoenix Super LPG on Sunday, February 13. On Wednesday, February 16, they will engage rival San Miguel Beer, before wounding up their busy stretch with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel on Friday, February 18.

This will allow the Tropang Giga core to focus on Gilas training as the national team will play four games from February 24 to 28 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Philippines will battle Korea twice, on February 24 and February 28. In between, they shall also play India on February 25 and New Zealand on February 27.
Part of the Gilas pool joining TNT players are Ange Kouame, Dwight Ramos, Juan Gomez de Liano, Tzaddy Rangel, William Navarro, and Jaydee Tungcab.
