Three Filipino swimmers failed to advance in their respective individual events on Sunday in Day 1 of the swimming competitions of the 19th Asian Games at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Aquatics Center.
The world governing body for swimming known by the acronym FINA has withdrawn its recognition of the members of the Philippine Swimming Inc. (PSI) board and has established a stabilization committee to run the PSI’s day-to-day operations.
Philippine Swimming Inc. (PSI), the country’s national governing body for aquatic sports, is determined to strengthen its grassroots program to boost preparations for the next international tournaments.
