Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic will be out indefinitely after suffering a broken wrist injury Thursday in their game against the Indiana Pacers.
Nurkic attempted a swipe in the 3rd quarter of the game, and held onto his right wrist after. He also fell down after contesting a shot around the rim.
The 7-0 Bosnian center immediately went to the locker room and never returned. The Pacers won, 111-87.

Re: Nurkic: Average lost time for an in-season wrist fracture that requires surgery is 32 games. If surgery is not required? The time is cut in half to 16 games.

Nurkic’s teammate Damian Lillard was quick to voice out his frustration over what happened.
Their big man missed a lot of games last season due to a broken leg before returning in the bubble to help the Blazers make the playoffs.
The Blazers are currently 6th with a 7-5 record in the Western Conference.
