The Philippine Skating Union has started preparations for next year’s 2022 Winter Olympics. It all starts with the selection of Filipino representatives for the ISU-Challenger series Nebelhorn Trophy 2021.

Set to represent the country in the first leg to be held in Courchevel, France is 18-year-old Skye Patenia. The inclusive dates of the tournament will be from Aug. 18 to 21.

Fil-Italian figure skater Alisson Perticheto suffered an injury on the last day of practice, forcing her to pull out of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021 set for Mar. 24 at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.
