PFL announces dates, locations for 2025 World Tournament semifinals

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has officially announced the dates and locations for the semifinals of the 2025 PFL World Tournament, marking a crucial phase in the single-elimination championship.

Following the first round, which will be held across four events in Universal Studios Florida, the semifinals will take place in Nashville, Wichita, and Chicago this June.

Presale tickets will be available Tuesday, March 18, exclusively for PFL newsletter subscribers. General ticket sales will begin the following day, Wednesday, March 19.

PFL 2025 World Tournament format

The 2025 PFL World Tournament features a single-elimination format spanning eight weight classes:

Heavyweight
Light heavyweight
Middleweight
Welterweight
Lightweight
Featherweight
Bantamweight
Women’s flyweight

A total of 64 fighters will compete across five months, with the goal of winning three straight fights to become the PFL Tournament Champion.

The first round and semifinal fights will follow a three-round, five-minute format, while the finals will be contested in five-round, five-minute bouts. Fighters will now also be allowed to use elbows in all matches.

PFL will distribute over $20 million in prize money, with each champion earning a $500,000 bonus.

The PFL World Tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN platforms in the U.S. and Canada, and on DAZN across Europe. The tournament will also be available in 190 countries through 20 international media partners.
