After months of intense competition, the Ateneo Blue Eagles and the Adamson Soaring Falcons collide on Saturday, November 4, for the Ang Liga Season 19 crown at the UP Diliman football pitch.
The Blue Eagles booked booked their spot in the final after fending off the DLSU Green Archers in the semifinals, 2-0.
Adamson, who missed out on the UAAP Season 85 Final Four, continued their impressive run in the tournament after ousting College of St. Benilde, 2-0, to reach the Ang Liga Season 19 championship round.
Both Ateneo and Adamson flashed excellent form in Ang Liga Season 19, finishing top of their respective groups in the first stage of the competition.
BATTLE FOR THIRD
Before the finals, DLSU faces the Blazers for a podium spot.
St. Benilde is looking to pull off an upset against a La Salle squad that is looking to vent their ire after falling flat against Ateneo in the Final.
Ang Liga is the premier collegiate pre-season tournament in the Philippines participated by major universities within and beyond Metro Manila.
The Final is set to kick-off at 3:00 p.m. while the battle for third is set for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the UP Diliman Football Field.
