Youssef Boughanem faced his toughest MMA challenge yet at BRAVE CF 90 but emerged victorious. The Moroccan striking legend secured a hard-fought decision win over French MMA veteran Johan Van de Hel to maintain his perfect 3-0 record. The event marked a significant milestone as BRAVE Combat Federation made its Austrian debut.

Boughanem dominated most of the fight with his striking expertise, honed through years of Muay Thai and kickboxing success. However, Van de Hel tested his grappling skills, nearly pulling off a submission in the second round. Youssef weathered the storm and regained control in the third round, landing precise strikes to seal the win.

“I’m thankful to BRAVE CF for the opportunity,” said Boughanem post-fight. “I still have a lot to learn in MMA, but I’m motivated to improve.”

This win follows his second-round finish at BRAVE CF 83 and his professional MMA debut earlier in 2024. Despite his striking dominance, Youssef continues to work on becoming a complete MMA fighter.

BRAVE CF 90 was hosted at the Multiverse Schwechat in Vienna, Austria, marking BRAVE CF’s 35th global host nation. The event highlighted the promotion’s continued growth and featured an electric night of fights in Europe.

Boughanem’s victory positions him as one of the rising stars in MMA, with fans eager to see what’s next in his journey.
