The Sunday game scheduled between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics was postponed due to lack of available players on the part of the Heat.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, a player from the Heat side returned an inconclusive test, and the squad did not have enough players available to suit up.
The Boston Celtics-Miami Heat game tonight has been postponed, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. A Heat player has returned an inconclusive test, and team does not have required eight players to proceed with game tonight due to contact tracing.

The league requires teams to have at least 8 players available for a game.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski added that the NBA will not be suspending the season anytime soon even if there have been a few issues.

Earlier, the Dallas Mavericks shut down their practice facility due to 3 players currently in quarantine.
Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry, meanwhile, tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) as well.
