NBA: Embiid, Sixers spoil Bradley Beal’s career-high 60 [WATCH]

Bradley Beal scored a career-high 60 points but the Philadelphia 76ers overcame the Washington Wizards in a high-scoring shootout Wednesday, 141-136.

Joel Embiid topped the Sixers scoring with 38 points, to go with 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks.

He also shot 11/20 from the floor. Seth Curry added 28 points including 6/7 from 3-point range.

Ben Simmons also chipped in 17 points and 12 assists.

Beal had a remarkable showing, shooting 20/35 overall from the floor and knocking down 7 triples.

He was supported by Russell Westbrook’s 20 points, 8 boards, and 12 dimes.

However, the Sixers were pretty much in control of the game, opening a double-digit cushion in the 2nd quarter.

The Sixers are now 7-1 in the season under head coach Doc Rivers, leading the Eastern Conference. The Wizards fell to 2-6.
