Skechers Philippines is stepping deeper into the performance running scene with the launch of the new Skechers AERO Razor, a shoe designed for runners who demand lightweight speed, responsiveness, and comfort during intense training sessions and long-distance runs.

Built for athletes balancing fast-paced lifestyles with serious conditioning, the Skechers AERO Razor takes inspiration from the award-winning Skechers Razor 3 released in 2018. The latest version updates that familiar lightweight concept with new performance technologies aimed at modern runners seeking efficiency and support on everyday roads.

The shoe arrives as more Filipinos embrace running not just as a fitness routine, but also as part of daily urban living. Whether tackling early morning roadwork, after-office tempo runs, or interval sessions across busy city streets, the AERO Razor positions itself as a high-performance option for runners constantly on the move.

Lightweight running focus

One of the standout qualities of the Skechers AERO Razor is its ultra-lightweight build. The men’s size 9 weighs only 196 grams, while the women’s size 7 comes in at just 159 grams, allowing runners to move with less restriction and fatigue during high-speed efforts.

Despite the lightweight feel, Skechers packed the shoe with advanced cushioning technology. The AERO Razor uses Hyper Burst Pro Super Critical Foam cushioning to create a responsive ride that helps generate energy return with every stride. The setup is designed to provide comfort without sacrificing speed during demanding runs.

The shoe also features Skechers’ patented H-wing forefoot design, which promotes a quicker and more responsive toe-off. This allows runners to maintain momentum more naturally when increasing pace during sprints, intervals, or tempo sessions.

Skechers said the overall design focuses on helping runners maintain agility while still benefiting from support and cushioning needed for longer training days on pavement-heavy routes.

Built for daily roads

Beyond pure speed, the Skechers AERO Razor was also designed with real-world road conditions in mind, especially for runners navigating uneven sidewalks, cracked pavement, potholes, and busy city streets common across Metro Manila and other urban areas in the Philippines.

To address those challenges, the shoe includes Arch Fit technology with podiatrist-certified arch support aimed at reducing strain during long runs and repetitive movement. The added support is intended to help runners maintain comfort even on less predictable terrain.

The AERO Razor also incorporates Hyper Arc technology, which encourages smoother transitions and a more efficient stride cycle. Instead of feeling resistance from rough surfaces, runners are guided into a more natural forward motion throughout each step.

For added traction and stability, Skechers equipped the shoe with a Goodyear Rubber outsole. The durable grip is designed to improve footing across different surfaces, helping runners stay focused on their pace and movement rather than worrying about slippery or uneven ground.

The full Skechers AERO collection, including the AERO Razor, became available starting May 24, 2026 through Skechers Philippines stores and selected specialty athletic retailers nationwide.
