The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has officially announced the complete fight card for the upcoming PFL Africa: Nigeria – First Round event scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, live from Lagos, Nigeria. The event will feature opening-round bouts in the Bantamweight and Lightweight tournaments, alongside multiple showcase fights featuring some of the region’s most promising mixed martial arts talents.

The event is part of PFL Africa’s continued expansion across the continent, with Nigeria serving as one of its key host nations for developing regional talent and building competitive pathways into the global PFL structure.

Featherweight showcase main event confirmed

The card will be headlined by a Featherweight Showcase Main Event between Nigeria’s Wasi “The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina (10-3) and Spain’s Ignacio “Nacho” Campos (7-2). Adeshina enters the bout in front of his home crowd as one of Nigeria’s leading MMA figures, while Campos brings international experience into what is expected to be a high-paced striking battle.

In the co-main event, Nigeria’s Patrick “Star Boi” Ocheme (8-1) will face Cameroon’s Octave “The Bantu Warrior” Ayinda (7-1) in a Lightweight Tournament First Round clash. Both fighters enter with strong momentum, with tournament advancement on the line in a highly competitive bracket.

Unbeaten prospects and regional rivalries

Also featured on the main card is an undefeated bantamweight matchup between Algeria’s Karim “The Kryptonian” Henniene (6-0) and South Africa’s Thimna “Kingslayer” Mhlauli (5-0), a clash of perfect records that adds significant stakes to the tournament structure.

Nigeria’s Cornel “The Marine Boxer” Thompson (11-3) will take on undefeated Congolese fighter Tsilomba “The Old Monkey” Mikixi (5-0) in another Lightweight Tournament First Round bout, while a middleweight showcase sees Yahaya “Smile Strong” Yahuza (8-0) face Cameroon’s Jordan Fongno (4-1) in a regional rivalry matchup.

The women’s division will also be represented as undefeated Nigerian strawweight Juliet Ukah faces Brazil’s Elisandra Ferreira in a showcase bout, adding international depth to the Lagos card.

The remainder of the card includes multiple bantamweight and lightweight tournament bouts featuring fighters from across Africa and beyond, including Raphael Uchegbu vs Edson Machavane, Alain Majorique vs Dwight Joseph, Jean Do Santos vs Demba Seck, and Booule Godog vs Dauda Rajabu.

Additional showcase bouts include Abderrahman Errachidy vs Hussain Al Kurdi, Styve Ngono vs Richard Muzaan in light heavyweight action, and Shelda Chipito vs Haidy Ahmed in a women’s strawweight matchup.
