Grassroots football legacy
Now on its 25th year, the Aboitiz Football Cup has become the country’s longest-running grassroots football tournament, providing structured competition and development pathways for young Filipino athletes across multiple regions.
Aboitiz Group and Aboitiz Foundation leaders emphasized the tournament’s role in shaping discipline, teamwork, and long-term character development, with football clinics and community programs reinforcing its impact beyond competition.
The event also continues to strengthen regional football ecosystems by giving young players regular match experience, helping bridge the gap between grassroots participation and higher-level competitive pathways in Philippine football.
