Borislav Nikolić, Muhammad Mokaev eye explosive World Champion vs. World Champion clash in 2026

The 2025 fight calendar may still have a few pages left, but anticipation is already building for what could be one of BRAVE Combat Federation’s biggest events in 2026 — a World Champion-versus-World Champion super-fight between Borislav Nikolić and Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev.

The spark for this potential showdown was lit at BRAVE 100 last Friday, November 7, when Nikolić solidified his dominance in the bantamweight division with a fourth-round technical knockout of Bahraini contender Hamza Kooheji inside the packed Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town.

A challenge fit for champions

The Serbian powerhouse silenced the home crowd to retain his BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Title, reaffirming his status as one of the organization’s elite competitors. But as the crowd’s shock settled, another champion entered the spotlight.

Moments after winning the inaugural BRAVE CF Flyweight World Title in the co-main event, Muhammad Mokaev stepped into the cage to challenge Nikolić directly. The Dagestani-born Englishman made his intentions clear — he wanted to test himself against the reigning bantamweight king.

“I love this idea,” Nikolić said after Mokaev’s challenge. “Mokaev is a great athlete and a true champion, but if he wants to test himself against me, I’ll be ready. These are the moments I live for.”

The 32-year-old Serbian champion has long prided himself on taking all comers, defining greatness through action rather than avoidance. “I’ve always said I’m a fighting champion,” he declared. “I’ll defend my belt against anyone, anytime, anywhere. That’s what separates real champions from the rest.”

Serbia awaits a homecoming super-fight

Nikolić now has one major request if the superfight materializes — to bring the spectacle home. “If Mokaev really wants my belt, he has to come to Serbia,” he said. “Let’s give my people a night they’ll remember forever. Serbia deserves a fight of this magnitude.”

BRAVE CF has previously hosted two major events in Belgrade — BRAVE CF 56 in December 2021 and BRAVE CF 69 in February 2023 — both successful showcases of the promotion’s growing European influence.

With two reigning champions eager to prove supremacy and the possibility of a Serbian homecoming, BRAVE CF could be setting the stage for one of its most historic bouts yet in 2026.
