The game drew a crowd of 16,823 fans and took place on Wednesday, June 10, with momentum swinging between both teams before TNT pulled away in the second half to secure the win. The victory prevented Ginebra from taking a 3-1 series lead and reset the Finals heading into Game 5.

Heading leads TNT charge
Jordan Heading delivered the defining performance of the night after scoring 29 points off the bench, powering TNT’s offensive surge that changed the direction of the game in the second half. His scoring burst created separation and forced Ginebra into defensive adjustments they could not fully recover from.
Heading shot 5-of-7 from three-point range and delivered a key fourth-quarter dagger that pushed TNT ahead 87-70, effectively breaking Ginebra’s momentum in front of a packed Araneta crowd. The performance marked a major turnaround from his earlier production in the series, where he averaged just 10 points in the first three games.
“My teammates did a good job finding me. I found some rhythm and I took advantage of it,” Heading said after the game, reflecting on his breakout performance. His scoring output became the central difference in a tightly contested Finals matchup.
Chris McCullough added 24 points and 14 rebounds, helping TNT maintain control inside the paint and supporting the perimeter scoring that defined their offensive rhythm. TNT coach Chot Reyes credited the balance across the roster, saying the team’s collective effort was key to the win.
Ginebra fades after strong start
Barangay Ginebra opened the game strongly behind Justin Brownlee and RJ Abarrientos, building a 21-16 lead in the first quarter after a motivated start following pre-game award recognition for both players. Their early execution gave them control before TNT adjusted defensively.
TNT responded in the second quarter, edging Ginebra 34-32 before taking full control in the third quarter with a 25-15 run that flipped momentum decisively. The shift came as TNT increased defensive pressure and improved ball movement to generate higher-quality shots.
Brownlee and Abarrientos helped Ginebra maintain competitiveness early, but TNT’s depth proved decisive as the game progressed into the fourth quarter. Once Heading’s scoring run peaked, Ginebra struggled to respond effectively on both ends of the floor.
Jayson Castro added 14 points and three assists, Calvin Oftana contributed 12 points, and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser chipped in 10 points and eight rebounds to stabilize TNT’s rotation. TNT’s balanced scoring ultimately allowed them to close out the game and level the series at 2-2.
