The Professional Fighters League has officially announced the full PFL Madrid fight card for Friday, March 20 at Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid, Spain. Fans will witness a stacked lineup, including top-ranked athletes across multiple weight classes.

One of the most anticipated bouts features former BKFC Lightweight Champion Franco “El Rey de la Calle” Tenaglia making his PFL debut against France’s Yassin “The Scientist” Najid. Tenaglia, representing Spain after relocating from Argentina, will aim to impress his home crowd, while Najid looks to spoil the party.

Bantamweight fighters based in Spain have also been added to the card. Moroccan-born Reda “The Lynx” Abdellaoui of Tenerife will face Italy’s Ernesto “El Potro” Schisano, who trains in Madrid. Both fighters bring undefeated streaks and high-energy performances to the preliminary card.

PFL Madrid is set for March 20 at Palacio Vistalegre, headlined by Middleweight World Champion Costello van Steenis defending against Fabian Edwards.

PFL Madrid will be headlined by PFL Middleweight World Champion Costello “The Spaniard” van Steenis defending his title against Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards. Van Steenis, representing Spain, claimed the title in Cape Town in July 2025 with a dramatic submission over Johnny Eblen in the final seconds of the fight. His previous split-decision victory over Edwards in 2020 adds another layer of intrigue to the matchup.

Fabian Edwards enters Madrid with momentum after winning three consecutive bouts in 2025, culminating in a head-kick knockout to claim the PFL Middleweight World Tournament title. Both fighters will look to leave it all in the cage as Edwards aims to take the title back to Birmingham.
