Savouge Aesthetics delivered another composed performance as it overpowered Australia’s ProVolley Academy with a fast, disciplined attack that set the tone from the opening serve in the Spikers’ Turf Invitational semifinals at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
The match unfolded Saturday, Nov. 22, with Savouge controlling every phase behind sharp ball distribution and a relentless tempo that neutralized the visitors’ height and athleticism.
JC Enarciso steered the offense with confidence, mixing combination plays and quick sets that repeatedly beat ProVolley to the spot. Savouge’s system ran clean and decisive, denying the Australians any rhythm throughout the sweep.

Hero Austria came off the bench and immediately sparked the third set with a scoring burst, while Shawie Caritativo, Mark Calado, Renzel Antonio and Daniel Nicolas supplied steady production across all rotations.
Savouge sharpens form as semifinals toughen
Savouge’s coaching staff emphasized pace to offset the Australians’ physical advantage, and the result showed in how quickly the Spin Doctors broke the match open. Even as the third set tightened, the team’s composure held firm despite minor lapses.
With two straight wins in the round-robin phase, Savouge heads toward a key duel against defending champion Cignal HD, a match that could alter the trajectory of the semifinal race.
ProVolley continues to search for momentum
ProVolley Academy dropped to 0-2 after also falling to Kindai University on Friday. Jude Aspero paced the squad with seven points and solid floor coverage, while captain Samuel Hansen and Isaac Relova contributed six each, but the team struggled to match Savouge’s pace and creativity.
Another stern test awaits as ProVolley meets Criss Cross in its next outing.
