Top-seeded Anna Kalinskaya overcame a spirited challenge from Thailand’s Mananchaya Sawangkaew, winning 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 to secure her semifinal spot.

Kalinskaya’s 72.7% first serve rate and ability to save 66.7% of break points helped her recover after dropping the second set. Sawangkaew showed flashes of brilliance, firing six aces, but Kalinskaya’s dominance in the deciding set proved too much to handle.

Ann Li Edges Birrell in Tiebreak Thriller

Ann Li booked her semifinal spot with a gritty 7-6(2), 7-6(4) win over Australia’s Kimberly Birrell, relying on a strong serve and composure in crucial moments.

Li’s six aces and 71.2% first serve points won gave her the edge in both tiebreaks. Birrell fought hard, saving two of six break points, but Li’s efficiency under pressure sealed the straight-sets victory.

Wang Xiyu Outlasts Teichmann in Marathon Battle

The match of the day saw fourth-seeded Wang Xinyu grind out a 6-7(5), 7-6(5), 6-4 victory over Switzerland’s Jil Teichmann.

Both players showed resilience, combining for 18 aces—with Teichmann firing 10 and Wang 8. The match was a test of endurance, but Wang’s ability to hold firm in the final set proved decisive, earning her a place in the final four.

Mertens Cruises Past Osorio

Second seed Elise Mertens put on a dominant display, defeating sixth-seeded Camila Osorio 6-4, 6-2 in a one-sided contest.

Mertens’ six aces and 66.7% first serve points won allowed her to control the match. Osorio struggled with 11 double faults, making it difficult to mount a comeback against the composed Belgian.
