Key Match: Cignal vs. FEU Ultras

All eyes are on the HD Spikers, who take on semifinalist DN Steel FEU Ultras in the main event at 6 p.m. Riding high on a five-game winning streak, Cignal is one victory away from clinching a spot in the final four.

Rested after their second unit dominated the VNS Griffins last Friday, head coach Dexter Clamor emphasized meticulous preparation for this pivotal clash. “Load management was key. Our focus is on Sunday’s game, and we’re ready for FEU,” said Clamor.

The Ultras, on the other hand, are coming off a strong win against the Green Oilers and will look to maintain their momentum after securing the first semis slot.

Criss Cross Eyes Semis Slot

The Criss Cross King Crunchers (5-1) will aim to solidify their semifinal bid when they face the Green Oilers at 4 p.m. With three straight wins, including a big upset against the Ultras, reigning Open Conference MVP Jude Garcia is confident: “Our win against FEU gave us a big boost, but we’ll keep working hard in the remaining games.”

The Green Oilers, after back-to-back losses, need a comeback to stay alive in the tournament.

Savouge Fights for Survival

At 2 p.m., Savouge will face the already-eliminated D’Navigators-Iloilo, hoping to snap a two-game losing streak and keep their semis hopes alive. Led by Sherwin Caritativo and Louis Gamban, Savouge is determined to stay in the fight, with head coach Sydney Calderon emphasizing focus: “We came close in our recent games but lacked composure. It’s time to regroup.”
