Five-time Olympic gold medalist Diana Taurasi, a 6-foot, 39-year-old guard who is the all-time leading scorer in WNBA regular-season history, netted a playoff career-high 37 points and All-Star center Brittney Griner collected 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Phoenix Mercury stole homecourt advance with a 117-91 road shellacking of the second-seeded Las Vegas Aces to even their best-of-five semifinal playoff series at 1-1.

The Sun shot an eye-popping .606 from the field.

Earlier, the top-seeded Connecticut Sun downed the upset-conscious Chicago Sky, 79-68, to tied their own best-of-five semifinal duel at 1-1.
The venues of both series shift to Phoenix and Chicago for Games Three and Four. The third games will be held on Monday, October 4 Manila time.
