Filipino B.LEAGUE stars Dwight Ramos and A.J. Edu represented the Philippines in the November 2025 FIBA window, showcasing their talent on the international stage.
Ed Ocampo was a rare talent who excelled in both basketball and football, earning the titles of “Mr. Basketball” and “Mr. Football.” His legacy as a defensive powerhouse, three-time Olympian, and championship-winning coach remains unmatched in Philippine sports history.
With most of his basketball contemporaries gone, Billy Abarientos or “Haba-Haba” looked with fondness a career which started during his elementary days at the Marulas Elementary School.
