Mathilda Krog got herself atop the intermediate podium and Team Philippines booked its best finish so far in the penultimate Stage 9 of the 13th Biwase Cup in Vietnam on Thursday, Mar. 16.
Kate Yasmin Velasco was on attack mode on Wednesday, Mar. 15, in the 13th Biwase Cup in Vietnam but could only settle for sixth place in Stage 6—the first time in the 10-stage race when a Vietnamese soloed to the finish.
Vietnamese riders went 1-2-3 in Stage 6 of the 13th Biwase Cup in Vietnam on Monday, Mar. 13, with Kate Yasmin Velasco finishing near the front and two of her fellow Filipino riders gaining ground in the general classification.

Team Philippines didn’t have enough gap for an attack just like the rest of the field with another rider from Thailand taking the day’s top honors in an uneventful Stage 5 criterium of the 13th Biwase Cup in Vietnam on Sunday, Mar. 12.
