The Alas Pilipinas girls’ under-16 squad surged to world No. 25 after its breakthrough qualifying run for the 2026 FIVB Girls’ U17 World Championship, marking the highest ranking ever reached by a Philippine volleyball team.
Alas Pilipinas got off to a winning start in the Rebisco AVC Beach Tour Nuvali Open, with both men’s and women’s teams securing victories in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
