La Salle-EcoOil dominates Martelli Meats in Spikers' Turf Debut: 3-set sweep highlights power and defense

La Salle-EcoOil kicked off its Spikers’ Turf Invitational Conference campaign with an impressive straight-set victory (25-21, 25-20, 25-13) over Martelli Meats at Ynares Sports Arena on Sunday, October 27. The Green Oilers, bolstered by key reinforcements Noel Kampton and Vince Maglinao, overwhelmed the winless Master Butchers with a powerful attack and dominant defense in just 69 minutes.

Kampton led the charge with 12 points and 8 receptions, while Maglinao and Josh Magalaman contributed 11 points each. Setter Eco Adajar delivered 15 excellent sets, and captain Menard Guerrero anchored the defense with 9 receptions and 7 digs. Coach Jose Roque praised the team’s improved depth, noting the ongoing integration of new players.
