The NBA is finally bringing its full in-person experience to the Philippines. Hall of Famer Jason Kidd and WNBA champion Lauren Jackson will headline the first-ever NBA House Philippines 2026 presented by Gatorade.
The free basketball fan event runs Aug. 29 and 30 at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City. For a country long considered one of the most basketball-crazed fanbases in the world, this marks a rare chance to experience the league up close.

Tickets are free, and fans can already redeem them at NBA.com/NBAHousePhilippines.
What Fans Can Expect at NBA House Manila
The event spans 2,700 square meters of interactive basketball and pop culture activities for fans of all ages. Kidd and Jackson will appear for meet-and-greets alongside select local artists.
Entertainment runs throughout the weekend, including performances from the Sacramento Kings Dancers. This marks their sixth overall NBA House appearance this summer, following stops in India and Australia.
Fans can also test their skills in basketball challenges and snag merchandise giveaways. A dedicated game zone will let attendees play NBA 2K27.
A standout attraction is the NBA memorabilia display, which includes the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Autographed jerseys and basketballs will also be on display.
There’s a pop-up NBA Store offering limited-edition NBA House Philippines merchandise. It will also carry exclusive drops from official league licensing partners.
The weekend doubles as a celebration of Filipino basketball culture on the ground. A Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA clinic presented by Gatorade will run on Aug. 29 for local kids from the YMCA Philippines.
Saturday and Sunday will each feature live viewings of regular-season WNBA matchups. Both days will also include 5-on-5 exhibition games involving local professional players and celebrities.
Why This Moment Matters for Philippine Basketball
NBA Head of Southeast Asia and Asia Marketing Sheila Rasu said the event celebrates more than just the sport. “NBA House Philippines presented by Gatorade will be a celebration of basketball, entertainment and music, featuring an exciting lineup of NBA and WNBA legends, local artists and authentic NBA experiences,” Rasu said.
She added that the league wanted to reward a fanbase that has long supported it from afar. “We’re grateful to our partners for helping bring the NBA closer to one of the world’s most passionate basketball communities,” Rasu said.
PepsiCo Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Nicole Villarojo echoed that sentiment. “Gatorade and the NBA have a longstanding partnership of building basketball globally, and we’re proud to present the first NBA House in the Philippines to the Filipino community,” Villarojo said.
Kidd brings serious credentials to Manila. The former No. 2 overall pick led the Dallas Mavericks to their first championship in 2011.
Across his 19-year career, he earned 10 NBA All-Star selections. He was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame twice, first in 2018 and again in 2025 as part of the 2008 USA Men’s National Team.
Jackson’s résumé is just as decorated. The former No. 1 overall WNBA draft pick won two WNBA championships with the Seattle Storm.
She also earned three WNBA MVP awards during her 12-year career and five Olympic medals with Australia’s national team. Jackson was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
