The honor capped a memorable campaign for the Foxies star, who helped elevate the franchise to new heights and established herself as one of the league’s premier players. Tubu emerged as the centerpiece of an evening that celebrated the achievements of the PVL’s top performers and personalities.
For Tubu, the recognition represented a moment she never imagined reaching during her volleyball journey. The award served as validation for a season filled with consistent performances and major contributions to Farm Fresh’s continued growth.

Tubu headlines season awardees
Tubu played a pivotal role in guiding Farm Fresh to playoff appearances in all three conferences during the 2025-26 season. The campaign was highlighted by the franchise’s highest finish to date after securing fourth place in the All-Filipino Conference.
The young winger expressed gratitude for the recognition, acknowledging the depth of talent across the league while emphasizing that the award motivates her to pursue even greater achievements in future conferences.
Her MVP campaign placed her among the elite players in Philippine volleyball and further strengthened her status as one of the sport’s emerging stars.
Joining Tubu among the major award recipients was Criss Cross standout Jude Garcia, who was named Spikers’ Turf Season MVP after helping lead the King Crunchers to consecutive championships.

League stars earn recognition
Tubu also headlined the PVL Mythical Team, which featured a collection of the league’s top performers from the 2025-26 season. Included in the selection were Savi Davison, Bella Belen, Pangs Panaga, Majoy Baron, Gel Cayuna and Kath Arado.
Belen added another major accolade to her growing résumé after being named Rookie of the Year. Creamline was recognized as Team of the Year, while the All-Filipino Conference Finals Game 2 between Creamline and Cignal earned Game of the Year honors.
In the Spikers’ Turf division, Garcia was joined in the Mythical Team by Noel Kampton, Giles Torres, JP Bugaoan, Adrian Villados, Mark Calado and John Pepito.
Additional honors were also handed out during the ceremony. PLDT coach Rald Ricafort and Criss Cross mentor Tai Bundit shared Coach of the Year recognition, while Creamline executive Jonathan Ng received Executive of the Year honors.
Alyssa Valdez was named Miss Quality Minutes, Erika Santos earned Most Improved Player recognition, and Kim Kianna Dy received the Comeback Player of the Year award.
Special citations were presented to the Alas Pilipinas women’s beach volleyball team for its historic Southeast Asian Games gold medal and to the Alas Pilipinas men’s volleyball team for its memorable performances on the international stage.
The annual celebration also recognized Majoy Baron and Mark Calado as Stars of the Night as the volleyball community gathered to honor another successful season.
