The Tour de France Singapore Criterium is set for a major return on Nov. 7 and 8, 2026, with a powerful new three-year title sponsorship agreement from Embed Financial Group Holdings that reinforces Singapore’s growing status as a premier destination for world-class sporting events.
As the only Tour de France-affiliated race currently staged in Southeast Asia, the event continues to serve as a flagship international cycling showcase for the region. Backed by the Amaury Sport Organisation and the Singapore Tourism Board, the renewed EFGH partnership secures vital long-term private-sector investment through 2028.

The commitment signals strong confidence in Singapore’s sporting ecosystem while positioning the criterium for expanded fan engagement, broader athlete participation, and deeper integration into the global cycling calendar.
Global cycling returns
The 2026 edition will once again bring elite international cycling directly into Singapore’s city center, with the race circuit weaving through iconic landmarks such as the Padang, Anderson Bridge, and Esplanade. This urban showcase offers Southeast Asian fans rare access to Tour de France-caliber riders competing in a high-profile regional setting.
Sprint stars Jasper Philipsen and Biniam Girmay are both expected to return, reigniting one of professional cycling’s most thrilling modern rivalries. Their anticipated presence adds significant global appeal to the event and enhances its international competitiveness.
A central festival village at the Singapore Recreation Club will further expand the race weekend into a broader spectator experience, featuring interactive activities, hospitality offerings, and community-focused programming.
Expanded participation grows
Beyond the professional race, organizers are significantly broadening the event’s public engagement structure through the return of Tour de France Singapore Criterium: À l’Attaque, allowing amateur and regional cyclists to experience official race conditions on the same circuit.
The Men’s division will expand into Under-19, Open Competitive, and Masters categories, widening accessibility across age groups. New additions such as the Team Time Trial introduce strategic team racing elements, while family-friendly rides continue supporting grassroots cycling development.
With stronger corporate investment, enhanced programming, and sustained international support, the Tour de France Singapore Criterium is solidifying its place as one of Asia’s most important cycling spectacles while strengthening Singapore’s global sporting reputation.
