Jude Garcia continued his historic run, capturing a fifth consecutive Most Valuable Player award to headline the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference Elite Team following another dominant season.
The Criss Cross star led his team to back-to-back championships, delivering consistent performances while maintaining his position as the league’s top individual player. His latest MVP added to a growing legacy that has set him apart from the rest of the field.

Garcia previously made history by winning four straight MVPs in the Invitational Conference. He followed that up by raising his level further in the Open Conference, proving his ability to sustain elite performance across formats.
Garcia leads across multiple categories
Garcia topped several major statistical categories, finishing as the league’s leading scorer with 201 points built on 162 attacks, 27 blocks, and 12 aces.
He also led in spiking with a 50.78 percent success rate and paced all players in serving with 0.27 aces per set. His production extended beyond offense, as he ranked fourth in blocking and eighth in digging.
The 27-year-old also earned Finals MVP honors after averaging 21.0 points per game in the championship series against Savouge.
He produced 26 points in the opening game win, was limited in the second match, and responded with 27 points in the deciding Game 3 to secure the title for Criss Cross.
Elite team highlights top performers
Garcia was joined on the Elite Team by standout performers from across the league, reflecting a mix of consistency and impact.
Savouge’s Shawie Caritativo and Criss Cross’ Alche Gupiteo were named Best Outside Spikers after strong all-around campaigns. Caritativo recorded 115 points while ranking among the top performers in receiving and serving, while Gupiteo made an immediate impact in his first stint with 159 points.
JP Bugaoan of Savouge and Lloyd Josafat of Criss Cross earned Best Middle Blocker honors after anchoring their teams at the net. Bugaoan led the league in blocking, while Josafat finished among the top in both total blocks and efficiency.
Adrian Villados secured the Best Setter award after leading the league in excellent sets per set, while Vince Lorenzo of AEP-Cabstars claimed Best Libero honors after topping the digging category and ranking among the best receivers.
The selections underscored the depth of talent in the league, but Garcia’s sustained excellence remained the defining storyline of the conference.
