Rather than a cautious debut, PFL Pittsburgh unfolded as a showcase of dominance, with several fighters making immediate impacts and reshaping their divisions in a single night.

Headlining the event, Johnny Eblen wasted no time reminding the division why he remains one of its most dangerous contenders.

Eblen rebounds with statement finish

Coming off the first loss of his career, Eblen entered the cage with urgency and left no room for doubt. The former Bellator champion overwhelmed Bryan Battle early, imposing his grappling before locking in a rear-naked choke to secure a first-round submission.

The victory not only reestablished Eblen’s position among the elite but also pushed him back into title contention, with a potential rematch against middleweight champion Costello van Steenis looming.

Elsewhere on the main card, Impa Kasanganay silenced the hometown crowd with a knockout win over Dalton Rosta. In a bout filled with heavy exchanges, Kasanganay landed the decisive blows that forced a stoppage in the opening round.

Ariane Lipski da Silva impressed in her PFL debut, controlling her bout against Sumiko Inaba with composed striking and consistent pressure to earn a unanimous decision victory.

Alexei Pergande continued his rise with a hard-fought win over Julio Arce in a physically demanding featherweight clash, while Lazaro Dayron extended his unbeaten run by showcasing his wrestling dominance in a decision victory over Jacob Thrall.
