Three PFL Africa champions will be crowned in one night in Kigali. The tournament finals at BK Arena in Rwanda on Saturday, Dec. 12, will settle the welterweight, lightweight and bantamweight titles.

At the top of the card, an unbeaten record meets a proven finisher. Nigeria’s David Samuel (7-0) faces Angola’s Shido “Machine” Boris Esperança (13-2) for the 170-pound crown after Esperança booked his spot with a first-round finish in his semifinal.

Three Title Fights in Kigali

Samuel went the distance in his semifinal to keep his unbeaten record intact. “On December 12, I will step into the cage not just as a finalist, but as a man determined to finish what he started and become a champion,” he said.

Esperança is just as sure of his path. “I believe that I can be that champion that the promotion deserves because I have been crafting myself for that,” he said.

The co-main event is the 155-pound final between Nigeria’s Patrick “Star Boi” Ocheme (10-1) and Senegal’s Demba “Black Tiger” Seck (11-3). Ocheme reached the final with a first-round body kick in his semifinal.

Seck has his own target. “Reaching the PFL Africa Finals means a lot to me, but my goal has always been clear: to become the Lightweight Champion!” he said.

The 135-pound final pits Liberia’s Dwight Joseph (17-3), who won a split decision in his semifinal, against Nigeria’s Raphael Uchegbu (11-2), a former FCC champion. “I’m writing a different story this time in Kigali,” Joseph said.
