BRAVE Combat Federation will expand its international footprint when BRAVE International Combat Week is staged in Georgia for the first time later this year. The showcase, set for Sept. 27 to Oct. 3 in Tbilisi, will bring together amateur and professional fighters in a week-long series of events.

The promotion said the occasion will highlight Georgia’s growing combat sports culture while also strengthening ties with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation. Mohammed Shahid, BRAVE CF president, described the celebration as a movement that unites fans and athletes worldwide through MMA.

Tbilisi to host amateur world championships

A centerpiece of the week will be the 2025 IMMAF World Championships, where amateur fighters from around the globe will compete for world titles. The tournament is expected to feature hundreds of athletes and will put Georgia in the spotlight as a rising destination for combat sports.

Organizers said the event also provides a stage for the next wave of professional prospects. Georgia, known for its fighting tradition, is expected to rally behind local participants while welcoming visiting teams and fans. Georgia vs. the World to headline final night

The week will culminate Oct. 3 with BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. the World, in partnership with Georgian Fighting Championship. The Tbilisi New Sports Palace will host the card, which matches homegrown talent against international opponents in a showcase of national pride.

The card marks Georgia as the 37th country to welcome a BRAVE CF event, underscoring the promotion’s rapid global expansion. Organizers said fight announcements will follow in the coming weeks, building toward a main event that is expected to capture global interest.
