The rivalry between two of BRAVE Combat Federation’s most iconic fighters may be reigniting just in time for a historic moment in the promotion. Reigning Light Heavyweight Champion Erko Jun has issued a direct callout to Mohammad Fakhreddine, the only fighter to hand him a defeat under the BRAVE banner.

In a recent social media post, Erko is seen staring down a poster of their first clash at BRAVE CF 96, declaring, “This is my motivation. Let’s run it back.” The message is unmistakable: Jun wants revenge—and possibly redemption—against the former two-division champion.
A rematch rooted in high-stakes history
Their original encounter was one of the most significant matchups in BRAVE CF history. Erko, then already Light Heavyweight champion, moved down to Middleweight in an attempt to become a simultaneous double champion. That feat had only ever been achieved by Fakhreddine, who had vacated both titles during a previous departure from the organization.
In front of a raucous crowd in Ljubljana, Fakhreddine returned and stunned Erko with a devastating first-round knockout, derailing his double-title ambitions and reasserting his dominance in the BRAVE cage.
Divisions heating up as BRAVE CF 100 approaches
Jun’s challenge comes at a critical moment. The Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions are surging with talent and tension, especially with Said Maalem—another top contender with ties to both men—recently calling out Fakhreddine following his majority draw with Kaloyan Kolev at BRAVE CF 97 in Bulgaria.
While Erko has made his intentions clear, Fakhreddine has yet to respond, leaving fans speculating about whether the rematch will materialize—and if so, at what weight class?
With BRAVE CF 100 fast approaching and being celebrated as The Year of the BRAVE, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for a potential blockbuster showdown between Erko Jun and Mohammad Fakhreddine.
