Algerian fighter Mohammed Said Maalem has reignited his long-running feud with Mohammad Fakhreddine, demanding a third and final clash to settle their score inside the BRAVE CF cage. The outspoken powerhouse from Algeria issued a direct challenge, calling on Fakhreddine to show the same courage Maalem once did.

“Fakhreddine, if you are a man, accept the fight,” Maalem stated. “When I defeated you in Italy, I accepted your request for a rematch, and you won in Bahrain. If you are a man, accept my request for a rematch, and I will defeat you. And you know that I will defeat you.”

Their rivalry began in explosive fashion at BRAVE CF 52 in Milan, where Maalem seemingly scored a decisive TKO win to become Light Heavyweight Champion. However, the result was overturned to a No Contest due to illegal strikes.

BRAVE CF 57 rematch only added fuel to the fire

Despite the controversy, Maalem honored Fakhreddine’s call for a rematch at BRAVE CF 57 in Bahrain. That bout saw Fakhreddine claim a TKO victory—though once again, it came under highly debated circumstances. Post-fight appeals and intense fan debates followed, as the result failed to offer true closure to their feud.

What happened after the final bell became even more unforgettable. A heated brawl broke out inside the cage, turning the ring into chaos. Both corners engaged in a melee, with referee Aaron Wallace forced to separate the camps as viral footage of the post-fight eruption spread globally. It became one of BRAVE CF’s defining moments.

Now, Maalem is seeking closure, not just for himself, but for fans and the sport. With one win apiece and a bitter history behind them, he believes a trilogy fight is the only way to resolve the tension and determine who truly deserves the legacy.

Will Mohammad Fakhreddine accept the challenge and bring an end to one of MMA’s fiercest rivalries?
