Stephen “The Sniper” Loman has never lost inside a BRAVE CF cage. On September 5, he’ll risk that perfect record for the first time in years, walking back into competition against one of the bantamweight division’s most dangerous rising contenders.
The Filipino MMA superstar and former BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion is finally set to make his long-awaited return to competition, facing No. 2-ranked Lasha Abramishvili at BRAVE CF 108 at the historic Pula Arena in Croatia. A win would immediately thrust Loman back into title contention for the belt currently held by Borislav “Zombee” Nikolić.

A Perfect Record Six Years in the Making
Loman remains one of the most accomplished fighters in BRAVE Combat Federation history. Since joining the Bahrain-based promotion at its inaugural event in September 2016, the Lions Nation MMA representative has never tasted defeat inside the BRAVE CF cage, compiling a spotless 6-0 record while improving his overall professional mark to 17-3 with six knockouts and two submissions.
His signature achievement came at BRAVE CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions in November 2017, when he stopped Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat via first-round technical knockout to become the organization’s first-ever Bantamweight World Champion. That title reign lasted an impressive 1,179 days and included four successful defenses, highlighted by a fourth-round knockout of former BRAVE CF Featherweight World Champion Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame in front of a raucous Filipino crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena in March 2019.
Now, after years away from the cage, “The Sniper” is returning to the organization where his rise to international stardom began.
“I’ve been waiting a long time for this opportunity, and I’m grateful that my return is finally happening in BRAVE CF,” Loman said. “This organization gave me the platform to showcase my abilities to fans around the world and played a huge role in my career. It feels great to be back, and I believe this fight in Croatia is the first step toward becoming BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion again.”
Abramishvili Eyes Career-Defining Statement Win
Standing between Loman and his comeback is one of the division’s most dangerous rising threats. Abramishvili enters the bout with a 12-2-1 professional record and a spotless 4-0 mark under the BRAVE CF banner, three of those victories coming by stoppage. He’s coming off a gritty unanimous decision win over Brice “Lion Kid” Picaud at BRAVE CF 106 this past June.
For the Georgian contender, a win over a former world champion would be the signature victory of his career — and the clearest possible case for the next title shot.
“It is a huge honor to compete against a fighter who helped build this division,” Abramishvili said. “Stephen Loman achieved great things as champion, and that makes this challenge even more exciting. I know that if I can defeat him in convincing fashion, I will have proven that I deserve to fight for the BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Title next.”
With two elite bantamweights chasing the same prize, BRAVE CF 108 is shaping up as a genuine title-eliminator. For Loman, it’s a chance to resume the championship journey that once made him one of the promotion’s greatest champions, without a single blemish on his BRAVE CF ledger. For Abramishvili, it’s an opportunity to score the biggest win of his career and move within touching distance of gold.
Only one man walks away from Pula Arena still chasing perfection.
