BRAVE Combat Federation is set to return to Bulgaria with BRAVE CF 107, featuring a highly anticipated flyweight showdown between unbeaten hometown prospect Nikolay Atanasov and Bahraini contender Magomed Idrisov on Saturday, August 1, at Burgas Arena in partnership with the Bulgarian Fight Agency.

Both fighters have expressed confidence ahead of the bout, setting the stage for a competitive clash between an emerging European talent and a battle-tested veteran from Bahrain.

Fighter Confidence Builds

Nikolay Atanasov enters the contest with a flawless 5-0 professional record, including four submission victories secured within the first two rounds. He made his BRAVE CF debut in October 2025, earning a split-decision win over Adigozel Guliyev.

The Bulgarian fighter emphasized the importance of competing at home, noting that the support of local fans in Burgas gives him added motivation. He also stated that he intends to showcase his evolution as a mixed martial artist and deliver a performance that reflects his growth inside the cage.

Atanasov’s reputation extends beyond his professional record, with a notable amateur highlight against current BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion Muhammad Mokaev. He remains the only fighter to have scored a knockdown against Mokaev during their amateur encounter, a feat that continues to draw attention to his potential.

That storyline gains added intrigue as Atanasov now prepares to face Idrisov, a teammate and training partner within Mokaev’s broader competitive circle, adding a layer of narrative depth to the matchup.

Veteran Challenge Awaits

Magomed Idrisov brings a 12-2 professional record into BRAVE CF 107, featuring three knockout wins and three submission victories. He is a familiar competitor within BRAVE CF, having built a significant portion of his career inside the organization’s cage.

Six of his 14 professional bouts have taken place under the BRAVE CF banner, where he has secured multiple victories and established himself as a consistent threat in the division. His most recent appearance came at BRAVE CF 101 in November 2025, where he earned a decision win over Marciano Ferreira.

Idrisov described the fight as another opportunity to build momentum and move closer to his long-term goals in the division. He acknowledged Atanasov’s talent but made clear he intends to impose himself and deliver another strong performance.

With both fighters carrying strong momentum, BRAVE CF 107 is shaping up to be a pivotal flyweight clash, blending an undefeated rising star with a proven contender eager to reassert himself on the global stage.
