USA Regains Control

After Serbia leveled the match in the second set, the United States responded with improved rhythm and attacking consistency to dominate the third frame and shift momentum back in its favor.

The Americans maintained pressure through strong wing attacks and blocking execution, preventing Serbia from building any sustained run in the final two sets.

Team USA finished Pool Five with the maximum 12 points available, bringing its overall tally to 20 points and securing a provisional lead in Week Two standings.

Key Scorers Lead USA Attack

Avery Skinner and Logan Eggleston powered the American offense, combining for 32 attack points as the USA recorded 62 total attack points in the match.

Eggleston finished with 18 points while Jordan Thompson added 14 and Asjia O’Neal contributed 10 in a balanced scoring effort that overwhelmed Serbia’s defense.

For Serbia, Nina Cajic led the resistance with 18 points, including a strong second set, while Anja Zubic added 12 points as the team closed its Pasig City run with a 1-3 record.
