BRAVE Combat Federation returned to Kazakhstan in explosive fashion as BRAVE CF 105 lit up the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty on Sunday, May 31. The 14-bout card, staged in partnership with Alash Pride League, delivered a night of finishes, upsets, and championship drama.
At the center of it all was Nicholas “The Saint” Hwende, who etched his name into BRAVE CF history with a defining performance in the main event.

Hwende claims featherweight crown
Nicholas Hwende captured the vacant BRAVE CF featherweight world championship after submitting Omar “Scorpion” Solomanov in a dramatic fifth-round finish. The former bantamweight champion endured early pressure as Solomanov controlled much of the grappling exchanges and dictated the pace through the opening rounds.
Despite the difficult start, Hwende steadily shifted momentum as the fight progressed and began asserting his own grappling game in the championship rounds. In the final frame, he secured a tight D’arce choke that forced Solomanov to lose consciousness, sealing a landmark victory.
The win made Hwende only the second fighter in BRAVE CF history to become a two-division world champion, further elevating his standing within the promotion.

Tasket delivers knockout redemption
The co-main event saw Asyljan Tasket earn a statement win in his rematch with Alexey “Suhist” Meshkov for the Alash Pride featherweight title. Tasket controlled the action with heavy pressure and top dominance before closing the fight in the fourth round with a powerful left hand that produced a knockout finish.
The victory marked a redemption moment for the Kazakh standout, who imposed his rhythm from the opening bell.
Kazakh fighters dominate undercard
Kazakhstan enjoyed a strong night overall, with multiple fighters delivering standout performances across the card. Rassul Khatayev secured a hard-fought unanimous decision win over Vladimir Petrenko in a competitive heavyweight clash that featured shifting momentum across all three rounds.
Dias Yerengaipov also earned a unanimous decision victory after adjusting his approach against Ryskulbek Ibraimov, overcoming early wrestling pressure to take control on the ground.
Rauan Bekbolat added another highlight with a first-round triangle choke submission over Sardor Khudoyberdiev, while Zhanibek Tynyshtyk finished his bout with a third-round guillotine choke after a dominant showing.
Finishes highlight main card action
The main card continued the theme of decisive results, with Abdurakhman Umirzakov stopping Asadbek Ravshanov via second-round TKO after overwhelming him with ground strikes. Murad Abdurakhmanov also made a statement in his debut, submitting Manas Temirbekov with an arm-triangle choke inside the opening round.
Former IMMAF world champion Kurban Idrisov remained unbeaten as a professional, controlling Rustem Kudaybergenov over three rounds to secure a unanimous decision win through sustained top pressure and grappling dominance.
Earlier in the card, Nizambek Abdrashitov and Erkhan Zhumabaev both earned decision victories, while Sultan Tagiev delivered one of the night’s most emphatic finishes with a second-round body kick knockout.
Prelims deliver early fireworks
The preliminary card set the tone for the evening with a series of decisive outcomes. Kadyrbek Shinbayev capped the night’s opening phase with a highlight-reel high kick knockout over Akhmedov Sharifjon, while Argen Maratbek Uulu and Georgiy Maissuradze battled through three competitive rounds before a decision was awarded.
Across the board, BRAVE CF 105 reinforced its reputation for global talent and high-intensity matchups, with Kazakhstan’s fighters delivering a particularly strong showing on home soil.
