Top-ranked heavyweight contender Miha Frlic is preparing for the biggest fight of his career as he challenges Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko for the BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship in the main event of BRAVE CF 106 on Saturday, June 6 at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
A victory would make Frlic the first Slovenian fighter to win a recognized mixed martial arts world title, placing him in a historic position within his country’s sporting landscape.

Title fight stakes rise
Frlic enters the championship bout with an unbeaten professional record of 7-0-1, including a perfect 4-0 run under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner. His rise has been marked by dominant performances and consistent finishing ability inside the heavyweight division.
His most recent statement win came at BRAVE CF 104 in February, where he stopped Samuele “Tank” Di Guardo in the opening round, strengthening his claim as the top contender for the title shot.
Frlic acknowledged the magnitude of the moment as he prepares to fight in front of a home crowd in Slovenia.
“I know what is at stake,” Frlic stated. “This is bigger than me. This is for my country, for every person who believed in this dream. I am ready to carry that responsibility and turn it into history.”
Fighting for national history
Frlic emphasized the personal sacrifices and long preparation that brought him to this championship opportunity, describing the journey as one built on discipline and resilience.
“It was never easy getting here,” Frlic admitted. “There were sacrifices people did not see, moments when I had to push beyond limits. Every fight, every camp, every setback shaped me into the fighter I am today.”
Now competing for a world title on home soil, Frlic sees the moment as a chance to deliver a historic achievement for Slovenia’s MMA scene.
“To become World Champion in Slovenia, in front of my people, is the ultimate dream,” he said. “I will give everything to make sure that when the night ends, we celebrate together and make history that will never be forgotten.”
