Farm Fresh showed no mercy on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, storming back from consecutive losses with a 25-14, 25-15, 25-12 sweep of Galeries Tower in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at Ynares Center. The Foxies quickly reasserted themselves, establishing dominance in both offense and defense.

Their 69-minute victory was the most lopsided result of the early tournament, which had previously featured tight contests and dramatic finishes. Farm Fresh’s aggressive serves and efficient transitions kept Galeries Tower off balance throughout the match.

Farm Fresh’s offensive firepower shone brightly. The team tallied 46 attack points against 25 for the Highrisers while registering 10 blocks at the net. Wing hitters consistently exploited gaps in the defense, and middle blockers thwarted any rhythm from Galeries Tower.

Trisha Tubu leads the charge

Trisha Tubu earned Best Player of the Game honors with 17 points from 13 attacks. She expressed hope that this breakthrough win would fuel continued success in upcoming games.

Ces Molina and Jolina dela Cruz contributed nine points each. Riri Meneses added seven, Mylene Paat five, while Rizza Cruz and Royse Tubino chipped in four markers apiece. Head coach Koji Tsuzurabara rotated players effectively, maintaining tempo and intensity throughout the match.

Depth and defense overwhelm Galeries Tower

Farm Fresh’s floor defense converted broken plays into points, limiting the Highrisers to one-and-done possessions. Galeries Tower, despite snapping a 17-game losing streak in a prior match, failed to sustain offensive pressure.

Aiza Pontillas led the Highrisers with nine points, while Erika Deloria was restricted to seven after posting 18 in their previous five-set win. Farm Fresh surged early in the opening set, taking a 12-4 lead and extending it to double digits with dominant play.
