The third edition of the International Series Morocco begins on July 3 at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, with defending champion Ben Campbell aiming to replicate his dramatic playoff win from last year. The event, serving as the Asian Tour’s only stop on African soil this season, will host a 156-player field competing for a $2 million purse.
The Red Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, designed by Robert Trent Jones, provides a picturesque yet challenging 7,596-yard, par-73 layout. Notably, the venue has become the regular home for the Morocco leg of the International Series, with previous champions Jazz Janewattananond (2022) and Campbell (2024) set to return.

Big names headline global field
Joining Campbell in the hunt for this year’s crown is American John Catlin, who lost in a playoff to Campbell in 2024. Catlin, the 2024 Asian Tour Order of Merit winner, has already logged a top-10 finish this season and remains a major contender.
The field also includes Jazz Janewattananond, Sadom Kaewkanjana, and Peter Uihlein—players who have all made headlines with wins or top finishes in recent Asian Tour events. Sadom comes in hot off a victory at the Kolon Korea Open and a runner-up finish in the Philippine Open, making him second in the Order of Merit standings.
Other notables include LIV Golf regulars Uihlein, Campbell, and Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent, who’s had a strong season across multiple tours. Former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and Chile’s Mito Pereira add more star power to the international field.
Filipino rookies and Moroccan hopefuls in the spotlight
Filipino golfers Carl Jano Corpus and Aidric Chan have earned their spots through recent wins on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) in Marrakech. Chan, currently atop the ADT Order of Merit, is poised for the biggest week of his young career.
Morocco’s own Ayoub Lguirati, who impressed with a T28 finish in 2022, returns as one of eight local players hoping to make their mark on home soil.
With players from 31 nationalities and only four amateurs, the International Series Morocco promises to be one of the most diverse and competitive events of the 2025 Asian Tour season. The tournament runs through July 6, with a 36-hole cut determining the top 65 players and ties for the weekend rounds.
