This landmark tournament brings together 128 players from more than 20 countries across the globe. They will compete in the Men’s and Women’s Open categories for €15,000 in prize money and up to 80 FIP ranking points.

Major Milestone for Philippine Padel

Organized by Asia Padel Events (APE) in collaboration with the Philippine Padel Association (PPA), the event marks the largest international padel competition in the region’s history. It highlights the Philippines’ emergence as a hub for the sport in Southeast Asia.

Top 100-ranked players will share the court with Filipino athletes, bringing international prestige to local talent. The PPA, as the official FIP representative in the country, is using this moment to showcase the growth of padel from grassroots to global stage.

“Hosting Southeast Asia’s first FIP Silver tournament is a defining moment for the sport in the Philippines,” said PPA President Alenna Dawn Magpantay. “We’re honored to welcome the world to Manila and highlight the evolution of padel in our country.”

APE echoed the sentiment, emphasizing their commitment to regional development. “This tournament reflects our shared vision to elevate padel in Asia,” the organization said in a joint statement with FIP.

Pro-Am Energy and Filipino Hospitality

Alongside the professional tournament is the Asia Challenger Series — an amateur competition supported by Babolat and the Rafa Nadal Academy. Open to players across the region, it offers a chance to earn points and enjoy an elite-level experience.

Returning international players have praised previous Manila events as among the best they’ve attended. FIP Silver Reap Manila aims to exceed those expectations with curated player experiences and local hospitality at the forefront.

Athletes and guests will be encouraged to explore destinations like Palawan, Siargao, and Boracay. By connecting sports with culture and tourism, the tournament becomes more than a competition — it’s a celebration of Filipino pride on the global padel stage.

Presented by Reap and backed by global and local partners, FIP Silver Reap Manila signals the Philippines’ growing influence in international padel. The event cements its place as a key destination for one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
