The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has added another promising talent to its growing Middle East roster with the signing of 17-year-old Emirati MMA sensation Zamzam Al Hammadi to PFL MENA.

“I’m happy that I’ve signed with PFL MENA and it’s a pleasure for me to be part of the PFL family,” said Al Hammadi. “I’m happy to represent my country on a global stage like the PFL and Inshallah, God will help me to achieve all my dreams.”

Zamzam Al Hammadi signs with PFL MENA at just 17 years old, bringing global youth championship experience.

A decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA competitor, Al Hammadi holds a 2-0 amateur MMA record and boasts title wins at the 2023 IMMAF Youth World Championships and JJIF World Youth Championships. Her dynamic background and competitive spirit have positioned her as one of the most exciting young prospects in the region.

Al Hammadi hails from a family steeped in martial arts. Her mother, Nada Al Nuaymi, is a practitioner of both judo and jiu-jitsu, while her sister, Ghala Al Hammadi, is also an accomplished grappler and MMA fighter.

“We’re thrilled to bring in one of the fastest rising young stars, not just in the Middle East but also in the world, in Zamzam Al Hammadi,” said Jerome Mazet, General Manager of PFL MENA. “At such a young age, Zamzam already has world championship experience, and we’re excited to have her on the PFL MENA roster.”

Mazet emphasized that Al Hammadi perfectly embodies the league’s commitment to showcasing homegrown talent. “There’s no better example than Zamzam, who’s going to be a huge inspiration to all the aspiring young talents from the UAE and the Middle East. We cannot wait to see what she can do inside the world-famous PFL SmartCage.”

Al Hammadi is expected to compete in amateur showcase bouts during the upcoming PFL MENA season, continuing her development while gaining invaluable experience under the PFL banner.

She follows in the trailblazing footsteps of Saudi Arabia’s Hattan Alsaif, who made history in 2024 as the first female fighter from her country to sign with a major MMA organization.

With PFL MENA’s mission to spotlight rising stars from across the region, Zamzam Al Hammadi’s arrival marks a pivotal moment for the growth of women’s MMA in the Middle East.
