Kasanganay leads PFL World Tournament 3 card with Edwards in high-stakes Orlando battle

Following Thursday’s official weigh-ins, the 2025 PFL World Tournament First Round continues Friday night at Universal Studios Florida, spotlighting elite talent from the Lightweight and Middleweight divisions.

Kasanganay vs. Edwards Headlines Main Card

Headlining PFL World Tournament 3 is a Middleweight showdown between 2023 PFL Light Heavyweight World Champion Impa Kasanganay (18-5) and former Bellator title challenger Fabian Edwards (13-4). Both fighters tipped the scales at 185.6 pounds and are primed for a pivotal bout that could shape the playoff picture.

Kasanganay, coming off his dominant PFL championship run at Light Heavyweight, now tests the waters at 185 pounds, while Edwards looks to bounce back and make his mark in a new league.

Rabadanov returns as lightweight reign begins

In the co-main event, reigning 2024 PFL lightweight world champion Gadzhi Rabadanov (24-4-2) takes on seasoned British striker Marc Diakiese (18-7), who makes his PFL debut with a point to prove. Rabadanov came in at 156.0 pounds, while Diakiese registered 155.2 on the scale.

A win for either man will go a long way in securing a coveted semifinal slot in the PFL playoffs.

Middleweight, lightweight matchups promise fireworks

Also on the main card, 2022 PFL champion and striking specialist Sadibou Sy (17-8-2, 1 NC) meets wrestling powerhouse Dalton Rosta (9-1) in a classic stylistic clash. Sy weighed in at 185.8 pounds, with Rosta at 185.4.

In the lightweight division, Mads Burnell (20-6) returns to the SmartCage against Jay-Jay Wilson (10-1) in a battle of high-paced grappling and striking. Both came in at or near the 156-pound mark.

Opening the main card, fan-favorite Clay Collard (25-14) collides with England’s Alfie Davis (17-4-1). Collard weighed in at 155.4 pounds, while Davis registered 155.8.

Early card adds depth and international flair

The early card, beginning at 5:00 pm ET, features more high-level action. In a key middleweight bout, Josh Silveira (185.6 lbs) takes on Mike Shipman (186.0 lbs). The lightweight division features Brent Primus (155.6 lbs) vs. Vinicius Cenci (155.8 lbs), while Aaron Jeffery (185.4 lbs) meets Murad Ramazanov (185.2 lbs) at middleweight.

Rounding out the undercard, Robert Watley (154.6 lbs) and Antonio Caruso (155.6 lbs) clash in a lightweight alternate bout that could become crucial if injuries arise in the tournament bracket.
