TNT now has a chance to close out the series in Game 5 on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Chot Reyes’ Challenge Sparks TNT’s Victory
TNT head coach Chot Reyes kept his pre-game message simple.
“I just challenged the players to be better—be better screeners, better passers, better defenders,” Reyes said.
TNT responded with strong defensive efforts and hustle plays, setting the tone with an early 11-5 run that secured a 91-81 lead in the fourth quarter.
Playing for Jayson Castro
TNT is pushing forward without Jayson Castro, who remains sidelined due to a knee injury.

Despite a dominant 44-point, 13-rebound performance from Deon Thompson, Rain or Shine could not overcome TNT’s well-balanced attack.
