Major Tournaments to Watch
The GS Caltex Maekyung Open Championship and the Kolon Korea Open, two of Korea’s premier golf events, will return in May and June. The schedule also includes the International Series Morocco, BNI Indonesian Masters, and Link Hong Kong Open, further solidifying the Tour’s reputation for hosting world-class competitions.

The PIF Saudi International, powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers, remains the crown jewel of the International Series, offering a staggering $5 million in prize money, the largest on the Tour.

Pathways to LIV Golf and More
The International Series Rankings continue to serve as a pathway to the LIV Golf League, providing golfers with a unique opportunity to elevate their careers. Each event in the International Series will feature a minimum prize pool of $2 million.

Expanding Horizons
The schedule will also see the return of fan-favorite tournaments such as the SJM Macau Open, Shinhan Donghae Open, and Mercuries Taiwan Masters. Additionally, the National Opens of Indonesia and Malaysia are anticipated to join the roster, along with four new destinations yet to be announced.

Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner and CEO of the Asian Tour, shared his excitement:
“We’ve come a long way since the Asian Tour’s inception 20 years ago. In 2025, we’ll surpass $30 million in prize money for the third consecutive year, creating immense opportunities for our members and thrilling millions of fans across the region.”

Closing the Year with a Bang
The 2025 season will culminate with the Final Stage of the 2026 Qualifying School, ensuring that the excitement extends through the entire calendar year.

The announcement follows a successful 2024 season that saw Joaquin Niemann of Chile claim victory at the PIF Saudi International, while American John Catlin set a new single-season earnings record as the Asian Tour Order of Merit champion.

Golf enthusiasts can look forward to an action-packed year, as the Asian Tour continues to solidify its standing as a premier destination for professional golf.
