The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) hosted an inter-agency coordination meeting for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 on Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2023, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

I salute the Alyssa Valdez-less Creamline for its gallant stand in the Asian Volleyball Confederation Cup. And I can’t blame the growing number of fans for admiring the new breed of Philippine volleyball superstars. The Pinay spikers eventually finished 6th, trumpeted by spin doctors as the best finish by the country in the tournament.

The problem is Eumir Felix Marcial, who’s now a professional pugilist, though I sincerely believe that his commitment to the national cause remains solid as ever is fighting an enemy, an imaginary enemy or shall I say the wrong enemy.
They say life is short, enjoy it to the fullest as much as you can. With the pandemic in our midst, we are somewhat caught in a trap of helplessness and fear. Nothing is certain.
