Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons staged a thrilling comeback to rule the PNVF Beach Volleyball National Open, overcoming Alas Pilipinas teammates Villapando and Rodriguez in the Final. James Buytrago and Jude Garcia also clinched the men’s title after an unfortunate injury to their opponents.
Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons ignited the crowd at the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures Nuvali, but their campaign ended in the quarterfinals. The duo now sets their sights on redemption and a SEA Games medal.
Sofia Pagara and Khylem Progella saw their momentum derailed by a controversial call as they fell to China’s Yu Tong and Jiang Kaiyue, 14-21, 15-21, in the AVC Beach Tour Nuvali Open.
Alas Pilipinas got off to a winning start in the Rebisco AVC Beach Tour Nuvali Open, with both men’s and women’s teams securing victories in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Alas Pilipinas will feature top college stars in the Rebisco AVC Beach Tour Nuvali Open, where elite teams from 11 nations will compete for beach volleyball supremacy.
The AVC Beach Tour Second Nuvali Open kicks off from April 2 to 6, featuring 40 teams from 11 countries. Hosted by the PNVF and presented by Rebisco, the tournament cements the Philippines as a top beach volleyball destination in Asia.
