Senegal gears up for historic Youth Olympic Games 2026

The Youth Olympic Games 2026 will feature 25 sports and full gender equality for the first time in Summer YOG history.

Senegal is set to host Africa’s first-ever Olympic event as the Youth Olympic Games 2026 (YOG Dakar 2026) arrives in October. With 2,700 young athletes competing across 25 sports, the Games will be a landmark moment for African sports and youth empowerment.
