The Super Welterweight division in BRAVE Combat Federation was one of the most competitive weight classes in 2024, featuring intense battles and major shake-ups. Following an eventful year, BRAVE CF has released the latest official Super Welterweight rankings, with newly crowned champion Luiz Cado sitting atop the division.

Cado became the sixth Brazilian fighter to hold a BRAVE CF title after defeating Kamal Magomedov at BRAVE CF 89 in Spain. Now, he awaits his first challenger, with Eliezer Kubanza emerging as the top-ranked contender.

Kubanza Strengthens Title Shot Bid

Eliezer Kubanza has been on a dominant run in BRAVE CF, racking up four consecutive wins in the organization. In 2024, he solidified his case for a title shot with two impressive victories:

  • A stunning stoppage win over Salamat Orozakunov at BRAVE CF 85
  • A dominant decision victory against Zagid Gaidarov at BRAVE CF 91

With his explosive fighting style and relentless aggression, Kubanza has proven to be a major threat in the division and is now in prime position to challenge for the championship.

Lohore, Magomedov, and Gaidarov Stay in Contention

Behind Kubanza, Alex Lohore holds the second-ranked position after securing two wins in 2024. Lohore made a statement in his BRAVE CF debut by stopping former champion Marcin Bandel at BRAVE CF 83, then followed it up with a win over Jivko Stoimenov.

Former champion Kamal Magomedov dropped to third place following his title loss to Cado, but remains a serious contender.

Despite his loss to Kubanza, Zagid Gaidarov holds the fourth spot, thanks to his dominant performances before their showdown.

Rami Hamed Returns to the Top Five

Rounding out the rankings, Rami Hamed makes his way to fifth position after an impressive comeback. The talented striker returned at BRAVE CF 92, defeating Salamat Orozakunov and extending his winning streak to six fights. With his momentum, Hamed has already expressed interest in entering the title picture.
