Battle vs. Rosta Official: PFL Charlotte Card Locked In

The scales don’t lie, and neither does the deep middleweight division standing behind Friday’s main event. PFL Charlotte’s weigh-ins are now final, with every fighter on the card successfully making weight ahead of fight night at Bojangles Coliseum, officially locking in Bryan “The Butcher” Battle against Dalton “Hercules” Rosta as the headline bout.

The event carries extra weight beyond the fight card itself. It marks one of the first PFL cards since last week’s news that MVP and PFL officially announced their merger, adding a fresh layer of significance to a night already loaded with title implications.

Hometown Hero Battle Set for Bounce-Back Bid

Hometown favorite #8 Bryan Battle (12-3, 1NC) hit the scales at 185.6 pounds, while Pittsburgh’s #4 Dalton Rosta (11-3) weighed in at 185.8 pounds, making their main event middleweight bout official. Battle will look to bounce back and prove he’s still a threat to the division in front of a supportive crowd, while Rosta plans to impose his relentless pressure to secure an important victory against one of his toughest opponents yet in a division where everything is up for grabs.

The co-main event also carries real stakes. #2 Dovlet Yagshimuradov (26-8-1) and #6 Simeon “Smooth” Powell (12-2) were added to the Charlotte card after being unable to compete on last week’s PFL New York event. Yagshimuradov weighed in at 205.0 pounds and Powell clocked in at 204.6 pounds. Yagshimuradov is looking to put a stamp on his title contention, while Powell is looking to steal his #2 ranking spot.
