PFF Futsaliga U17 semifinals set as Beach Hut FC and Star FC dominate elimination round

The battle for youth futsal supremacy in the Philippines has officially reached its decisive stage after the PFF Futsaliga U17 elimination round wrapped up in dramatic fashion at the Philsports Arena. With powerhouse performances, late surges, and statement victories, the country’s top young futsal squads have now secured their places in the highly anticipated Cup semifinals.

Beach Hut FC in the Girls Division and Star FC in the Boys Division emerged as the tournament’s top seeds after dominant campaigns, while several teams fought through pressure-packed final-day clashes to complete the semifinal picture.

Beach Hut FC and PasigLaban power through Girls Division race

Beach Hut FC cemented its place at the summit of the Girls Division after delivering a convincing 4-1 triumph over Star FC, using its superior goal difference to claim the No. 1 spot despite finishing level on points with PasigLaban and Silangan FC Cainta.

Baasha Rowan Aurelio once again proved instrumental, producing a brace that highlighted Beach Hut’s disciplined and relentless style heading into the knockout stage. Their consistency throughout the elimination phase has established them as one of the strongest title contenders.

PasigLaban also made a thunderous statement by demolishing Antipolo City FC, 10-0, in one of the tournament’s most lopsided victories. Jazz Sosa’s return provided a crucial spark as the squad surged into second place and secured valuable momentum entering the semifinals.

Silangan FC Cainta, meanwhile, locked in its semifinal berth after grinding out a narrow 1-0 win over Nemesis Gaia FA, ensuring that all semifinalists enter the next phase battle-tested.

The Girls Division semifinal pairings are now officially set, with Beach Hut FC facing Nemesis Gaia FA, while PasigLaban prepares for a pivotal showdown against Silangan FC Cainta.

Star FC’s perfect run headlines Boys Division supremacy

Star FC completed an extraordinary elimination round with an immaculate 7-0 record, preserving its flawless campaign after rallying from behind to defeat Antipolo City FC, 4-2, in dramatic comeback fashion.

The boys squad showcased elite composure, determination, and competitive respect despite already securing advancement, proving why they remain the benchmark of the division. Their ability to finish strong in pressure situations further solidified their championship credentials.

Paul Stiga Academy secured second place through another gritty victory, continuing a campaign built on resilience and consistency. EMA Bulacan Highlanders, powered by Charlson Vidal’s sensational five-goal outburst, stormed into the semifinals with one of the most explosive offensive displays of the tournament.

Nemesis FA also punched its ticket emphatically, crushing Sporting QC, 8-1, as Michael Canaman’s four-goal masterpiece reinforced his reputation as one of the league’s deadliest scorers.

With semifinal matchups now finalized, Star FC will battle Nemesis FA, while Paul Stiga Academy takes on the surging EMA Bulacan Highlanders in what promises to be a fiercely contested battle.
